Camp SMILE is co-directed by Cecy Lowell and Kerry Tran.

Mrs. Lowell has been involved with Camp SMILE for over 30 years. She has a Bachelor’s degree in Special Education and has worked with United Cerebral Palsy for 15 years.

Mrs. Tran has a master’s degree in Early Childhood Special Education. She has worked for United Cerebral Palsy and Camp SMILE for over 10 years.

Camp SMILE’s summer staff is comprised of nurses, paramedics, special education teachers, therapists and camp activity leaders. Each has been carefully chosen and trained for his or her role at camp. Many of the staff actually started as high school volunteers, pursued a career in special education and returned to Camp SMILE as professionals.
